Leonard J. “Buzz” Mosher, Jr., of Mount Prospect, age 91, born in Antigo, WI, May 7, 1927 passed peacefully at home August 9, 2018. He married Maxine L. nee Cheslak May 21, 1955. He was a proud Navy veteran of WWII and Korea. Len retired from Vapor as an engineer after 37 years. Dear father of Gail M., Paul G., and Richard J. Mosher. Cherished grandfather of Adam E. Mosher. Fond brother of Noreen Heine, Robert John Mosher, Mary Johnson, Michael Mosher, Susan Warren, and Dennis Mosher. Loving uncle of many.
He was preceded in death by his father Leonard J. Mosher, Sr., mother Lillian A. nee Donohue, a brother Eugene Mosher, sister Patricia Anderson, and his beloved wife Maxine Mosher.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was involved in scouts, American Legion, the church, and many other organizations. He got a great deal of pleasure meeting and helping many people while operating Mosher’s Repair Service.
He will be missed by family and those whose lives he touched. Memorial visitation Friday 10:00 until Memorial Mass 11:00 A.M. at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt. 83) and Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect.
